Can you deliver a baby with a biparietal diameter of 103?

Whether or not a normal delivery with a biparietal diameter of 103mm is possible needs to be determined on a case-by-case basis. If the individual is in good health, a normal delivery is possible, but if the individual is in poor health or has uncomfortable symptoms, a normal delivery is not possible.

Under normal circumstances, a full-term fetus with a biparietal diameter of about 95mm can be delivered if there are no special conditions for the fetus or the mother.

A cesarean section is only an option if the mother’s pelvis is too narrow or if she has a reproductive disease. If the diameter of the baby exceeds 100mm, it will be more difficult to have a normal delivery, and the incidence of obstructed labor will increase.

When the biparietal diameter is 103mm, if the mother’s body is in good physical condition and the width of the pelvis is enough, she can try to have a normal delivery. If the mother’s body is in poor physical condition and the width of the pelvis is not enough, try not to have a normal delivery, and choose cesarean delivery.

Since everyone’s physical condition is different, you can listen to your doctor’s advice before deciding whether or not you can have a normal delivery.
