Meningioma edema can be cured without surgery.
Edema caused by meningioma can be treated by using mannitol for dehydration and lowering cranial pressure, which can reduce the edema around meningioma and lower the intracranial pressure, and usually can be cured without surgery. However, for severe intractable cerebral edema after cerebral hemorrhage, which is ineffective or unsatisfactory after conservative treatment, decompressive surgery should be considered.
Meningioma is a kind of disease with a long course.
