Chinese medicine mainly plays an auxiliary role in treating lung cancer, which may alleviate the adverse effects of chemotherapy and targeted therapy to a certain extent, improve the quality of life of patients, and alleviate the pain of patients in advanced stages. However, it is difficult for traditional Chinese medicine to kill tumor cells directly, so it cannot treat lung cancer or prolong the survival time of patients, and improper use of traditional Chinese medicine may also bring liver and kidney toxicity. It is suggested that patients should strictly follow the doctor’s prescription and do not blindly take traditional Chinese medicine.
