High percentage of normal white blood cells and neutrophils is caused by what disease

Normally, neutrophils account for 50-70% of all white blood cells. If the total white blood cell count is normal and the percentage of neutrophils is high, it is common in two cases: the first case is a mild infection, such as a mild respiratory infection, or a mild perianal infection, etc., which can cause a high percentage of neutrophils due to the stimulation of inflammatory substances, but because the infection is mild, the total white blood cell count is not high, so there is a normal white blood cell count, but a high percentage of neutrophils. However, because the infection is mild and the total white blood cell count is not high, there is a normal white blood cell count but a high neutrophil percentage. The second condition is common in minor injuries, such as mild skin damage or minor joint sprains, etc., which can also cause a high neutrophil count due to the sprain, but the total white blood cell count is normal because the injury is mild. Therefore, a normal total white blood cell count with a high neutrophil percentage is common in mild infections or mild inflammation. If the infection or inflammation is very severe, or if the injury is severe, not only will the neutrophil percentage be high, but the white blood cell count will also be significantly high.
