What’s going on with the loss of pubic hair?

Pubic hair is getting less and less may be due to physiological reasons, may also be due to endocrine disorders, folliculitis or seborrheic dermatitis and other pathologic reasons, specific as follows.
1. Physiological reasons: with the increase of age, the hair follicle will appear local aging, gradual atrophy, thus appearing pubic hair loss, the appearance will be observed that the pubic hair is getting less and less, and women before and after menopause pubic hair loss speed up, these are normal physiological performance.
2. Pathological reasons: if the female patient is younger than 45 years old, need to be alert to whether it is caused by endocrine disorders, need to take blood tests of hormones, when the female estrogen content is low, there may be less pubic hair. If the loss of pubic hair is accompanied by mild itching, it may be due to folliculitis or seborrheic dermatitis.
If the decrease in pubic hair is accompanied by itching, pain or other abnormal sensations, it is recommended that the patient seek medical attention.
