As we age, there is bound to be a sagging of facial tissues. Especially in the eye area, it is one of the earliest features of aging, and as aging intensifies, many candidates even develop the condition of triangular eyes. The easiest way to correct sagging eyes is to do a brow lift, and the end of the eyes will be lifted. However, a brow lift is also performed within certain limits, and the surgical design needs to be reasonable according to the specific situation; not all problems can be solved with a brow lift. The sagging of the eyes must be accompanied by the laxity of the facial tissues, the laxity of the skin of the upper eyelids, the downward shift of the eyebrows, and other factors, so we have to make a comprehensive judgment and make a good plan. For example, the easiest way is to do a brow lift through an incision under the eyebrow. If you are not satisfied with the shape of your eyebrows, or if your tattooed eyebrows don’t look good, you can remove some of the eyebrows and adjust the shape. If the laxity is very serious, a double eyelid may be needed. But this double eyelid should not remove too much skin, if the removal is more than three millimeters, the double eyelid made will definitely be very fake. It is common to remove one or two millimeters to get a more natural-looking eyelid. The skin underneath the eyelid is very thin, and the higher up the eyelid, the thicker it is. If the fold of the eyelid is too thick, the post-operative result will not be natural. If the eyelids are too thick, the result will not be natural. In the design of the plan, you can consider doing it alone or together for better results. If the overall facial laxity is serious and the tissues at the end of the eyes are drooping, a temporal lift is needed for a more satisfactory result. For me personally, I also have a T-reverse ageing procedure, which is done through an incision in the brow cut and a simultaneous lift in the temporal area, which is still effective for candidates with a fear of facelift, or for those who have under-eye tail correction. In the fifth case, in the case of upper eyelid laxity, the main cause is the downward shift of the eyebrows, and the eyebrow-eye spacing is particularly close. This is not a good time for brow lift surgery, which will lead to further widening of the eyebrow-eye spacing, and for this case, the best solution is an overall forehead lift. For the choice of surgeon, this is often the case. The patient has already done a detailed comparative study of several techniques on the internet and has a good idea of the advantages and disadvantages. However, there is a serious problem that the candidate does not know whether the procedure is suitable for him or her. For example, one of the candidates today wanted to have a brow lift, but I thought it would be more appropriate for her to have a forehead lift, so I simulated the effect of a forehead lift for her, and compared the simulated effect of a brow lift, the candidate thought the effect of a forehead lift would be more suitable for her. For eyelid laxity, I have proposed five ways today. Many candidates may struggle with the so-called which one is better? In fact, for each modality for a situation, the one that suits you is the best. If the problem is more complicated, you even need two or three modalities combined to achieve a more natural corrective effect.
