On August 10, the 5th Sichuan and Chongqing Endoscopy Salon and the 5th Suining Gastroenterology and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Academic Meeting was held by our hospital. Experts and professors of gastroenterology from Sichuan and Chongqing areas gathered together and exchanged views on difficult gastroenterology cases and academic issues, President Chen Youjun expressed his warm welcome to the arrival of experts and professors, and expressed his most sincere Thank you. The experts and professors attending the meeting were from West China Hospital, Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital, Chengdu Military General Hospital, Chengdu Third People’s Hospital, Sichuan Cancer Hospital, Hospital of Chuanbei Medical College, Luzhou Medical College Hospital, Xinqiao Hospital, Southwest Medical University, Daping Hospital, Hospital of Heavy Medicine, Fuling Central Hospital. Some famous gastroenterology professors from Sichuan and Chongqing region did the demonstration of pancreatic pseudocyst puncture and drainage, fundic mesenchymal tumor ultrasound endoscopy, colon polyp removal, cirrhosis esophagogastric fundic varices ligation and sclerotherapy, ERCP examination of common bile duct dilatation and nasobiliary drainage operation in the conference. During the demonstration, the experts analyzed the characteristics of the patient’s condition and thoroughly analyzed the patient’s diagnostic report to the medical and nursing staff present, while explaining and demonstrating the key points and difficulties of the operation for the observers during the procedure, and answered in detail all the academic questions raised by the observers. In the seminar of difficult cases of gastroenterology in the afternoon, representatives from eleven hospitals such as West China Hospital, Provincial People’s Hospital and Provincial Cancer Hospital shared various difficult cases, and experts and professors such as Peng Guiyong, Wang Yiping, Li Liangping, Shi Wei and Chen Congjun made wonderful comments on the case discussions submitted by each hospital, fully discussed the advanced experience in the cases, discussed the problems and gave guidance.
