How high is the jaundice level of newborns to stay in the incubator

Neonatal jaundice is treated with phototherapy in a warm box if necessary. The need for this treatment depends on the age of the newborn and the presence or absence of risk factors, such as serum bilirubin of more than 15mg/dl in a low-risk newborn at 2 days of age.
Jaundice is a common symptom during the neonatal period, and the jaundice level that requires this treatment is related to a number of factors, such as neonatal age, gestational age, and the presence or absence of risk factors (e.g., hypoxia, acidosis, etc.). For newborns over 38 weeks of gestational age, phototherapy is required for 2-day-old babies who are generally well when the jaundice value exceeds 15mg/dl.
For high-risk newborns (gestational age of 35 to no more than 38 weeks, with risk factors such as hypoxia), the jaundice value level is around 11mg/dl at 2 days of age, and intervention is required after evaluation by a specialist.
Neonatal jaundice suggests active medical consultation and reasonable intervention after comprehensive evaluation by a specialist.
