Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis cannot be cupped. Once the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis is clear, the main thing is to give early standardized anti-tuberculosis treatment. However, because tuberculosis is a chronic wasting disease, the process of anti-tuberculosis treatment must be strengthened with nutritional support, such as the intake of high-protein, high-nutrient food, while eating more vitamin-rich food, which can enhance the patient’s resistance and immunity to promote recovery from tuberculosis. Cupping treatment is not conducive to the recovery of tuberculosis patients, and may lead to local subcutaneous bleeding and edema, and may even lead to local skin infection, so cupping is not recommended for tuberculosis patients.
