Instantaneous tingling below the right rib cage is considered to be related to physiologic factors such as strenuous exercise and poor posture, as well as acute cholecystitis and intercostal neuritis. 1. Physiological factors: for some people who exercise strenuously or maintain poor posture, the pain below the right rib cage may be tingling momentarily, but it will be relieved after proper rest and change of posture. 2. Acute cholecystitis: the disease is related to blockage of the gallbladder duct and bacterial infection. When acute cholecystitis attacks, the patient may have instant tingling pain under the right rib cage, and other symptoms such as jaundice, nausea and vomiting, anorexia, and hiccups (hiccups) may occur. 3. Intercostal neuritis: Intercostal neuritis is mostly caused by herpes zoster infection, but also related to nerve compression, trauma, infection and other factors. The typical symptom of the patient is pain, which is easily aggravated by coughing and deep breathing, thus manifesting itself as a momentary stabbing pain below the right rib cage. It is recommended that the person who suffers from instant tingling under the right rib cage should consult a doctor for examination in order to clarify the disease and then follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
