Cerebral palsy medication

There is no effective cure for cerebral palsy and it is mainly treated by rehabilitation, medication and surgery. Early intervention, comprehensive treatment and long-term persistence are needed. 1. Drug treatment is mainly symptomatic treatment. For spastic cerebral palsy, muscle relaxants such as Benzhexol and Baclofen are often used. Dopamine drugs are often used to treat spastic cerebral palsy. Localized muscle botulinum toxin injections can relieve spasticity and promote motor function. Drugs need to be used under the guidance of specialized doctors. 2. Rehabilitation therapy: It is the main treatment method for cerebral palsy, including motor training, guided education, sensory integration training, music therapy, etc. 3. Surgery: selective posterior spinal nerve rhizotomy, selective partial peripheral nerve rhizotomy, carotid sheath sympathetic nerve net stripping, bone joint and muscle tendon orthopedics. Cerebral palsy patients are advised to actively seek medical treatment and standardize the treatment under the guidance of doctors so as to avoid delaying the condition.
