Do breast prostheses transfer to the back?

Breast implants do not move to the back. Breast implants are usually implanted under the mammary glands or the pectoralis major muscle, because the cavity where the implant is placed is bounded, so it will not move freely, let alone move to the back. Moreover, after the implant enters the body, it will be firmly wrapped in a peripheral membrane, and with the existence of the membrane, the implant is also restricted in its freedom, so the implant will be even less likely to wiggle around. These are like seat belts that hold the implant in place. Patients are advised not to massage their breasts too often and should be nourished after surgery. Pressure bandages are applied as needed for immobilization after surgery, and frequent upper limb movements and excessive force are avoided for 1 month after surgery. If any discomfort occurs after breast implantation, it is recommended to consult a regular hospital in time and standardize the treatment under the doctor’s guidance.
