The eight sosos are eight acupuncture points that are symmetrically positioned on both sides of the upper sosos, the second sosos, the middle sosos, and the lower sosos, and are mainly located in the lumbosacral region.
The eight scholars are divided into eight main points, namely, a pair each of the upper, second, middle, and lower scholars. The location of the Upperos is in the 1st posterior sacral foramen, in the line between the anterior superior iliac spine, the posterior superior iliac spine, and the posterior median line. The secondos is in the 2nd post-sacral foramen, also in the line between the posterior superior iliac spine and the posterior median line. Zhongsiao and Xiaosiao are in the 3rd and 4th post-sacral foramina, respectively.
Cupping, tuina or moxibustion on the Bares point can effectively treat lumbosacral pain, lower limb impotence paralysis (weakness, numbness and pain in the lower limbs), dysuria (unsmooth urination), impotence and spermatorrhea, menstrual disorders, and abdominal distension and pain.
If there are uncomfortable symptoms, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, do not operate on their own acupoint acupuncture massage, so as not to cause damage to the organism.
