If your usual period is 5-7 days and you have vaginal bleeding a week after your period ends, it is about 14 days after your period. If your usual period is once every 28 days and you are ovulating, it is possible that the bleeding is caused by ovulation. The bleeding during ovulation is relatively small and usually clears up in 2-3 days, sometimes with blood in the droplet-like or white belt. However, if the bleeding is heavy and prolonged, you should go to the hospital for ultrasound and gynecological examination to see if cervical lesions or polyps in the endometrium, submucosal fibroids or endocrine disorders may cause vaginal bleeding.
