The correct first aid for burns and scalds

After being burned or scalded, if you are at the scene, try to rinse the wound repeatedly with water. Generally rinse for about 10-20 minutes, mainly to try to dissipate heat. After rinsing, you must wipe the surface of the water, wrap the wound with clean gauze or clean clothes, and then immediately send it to the hospital for treatment. After being sent to the hospital, the wound is usually disinfected first, then a scald cream or Vaseline gauze is applied externally, and then a sterile clean dressing is wrapped. If the burns are deep or large, tetanus antitoxin must be injected, and more fluids and antibiotics must be applied to prevent infection. If the area is large and the burns are deep second or third degree, hospitalization is necessary.
