Physical cooling, also known as cold therapy, cold compresses, warm water or ethanol baths, is one of the most commonly used symptomatic treatments for high fever, i.e., the absorption of heat through the physical principle of heat exchange to lower the body temperature. You can take the following methods: 1. drink more hot water. 2. use antipyretic patches. 3. give your child a bath with warm water. 4. use an ice pack and place it on your child’s head, armpits and groin where the large blood vessels travel. do not place the ice pack directly on your child’s body, but wrap it in a dry towel and use it.
