The meaning of Resolving Surface, Resolving Dampness, Regulating Qi and Harmonizing the Middle Jiao is to relieve the external evils, get rid of the dampness in the body, regulate the qi of the spleen and stomach, and make the functions of the spleen and stomach smooth, and it is a treatment for the external evils attacking the surface of the body, the stagnation of water and dampness in the body, and the lack of qi in the middle jiao of the spleen and stomach (the body’s gases do not run smoothly).
