Five said that the original sermon, its people meat rich and low-built house”. After generations of medical practitioners for the physical description, summary, classification, the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine on April 9, 2009 released China’s first guidance and standardization of Chinese medicine physical research and application of technical documents “Chinese medicine physical classification and determination” standard. This document standardizes the nine basic classifications and characteristics of TCM physique and the determination of TCM physique classification. According to the “Classification and Determination of Physique in Chinese Medicine” standard, there are 9 basic physiques in Chinese medicine, which are: Pinghe-quality, Qi-deficiency-quality, Yang-deficiency-quality, Yin-deficiency-quality, Phlegm-dampness-quality, Damp-heat-quality, Blood-stasis-quality, Qi-depression-quality, and Special-endowment-quality.
