Steatohepatitis (i.e. fatty liver) is not necessarily liver insufficiency. Liver insufficiency is a pathology in which damage to liver cells results in markedly reduced liver function. Fatty liver is a condition in which fat accumulates in liver cells. Mild to moderate fatty liver does not cause significant liver cell damage and does not lead to liver insufficiency. In contrast, severe fatty liver can develop liver insufficiency. Fatty liver can be treated through diet and exercise. 1. Diet: Strictly control dietary calorie intake, moderate intake of fat and carbohydrates, limit sugar, beverages, pastries and processed foods, and eat more cereals. 2. Exercise: Avoid sedentary and less active can carry out moderate aerobic exercise, such as walking, fast walking, jogging and so on. If patients with steatohepatitis, should promptly go to the hospital, under the guidance of the doctor to improve the examination and targeted treatment.
