The treatment of novel coronavirus pneumonia is a systematic continuation of the treatment, which actually does not make very clear subdivisions, i.e., early, intermediate, and late stages. Generally speaking, the early stage of novel coronavirus pneumonia is characterized by fever, and most patients are able to recover from the disease, while some patients may develop severe disease. During this process, if the patient develops fever as the disease progresses, symptomatic antipyretic may be given. Breathlessness and dyspnea often occur, and oxygen should be administered, usually by nasal cannula, and in some severe cases a mask may be required. As the disease progresses, some patients will deteriorate further with dyspnea and respiratory failure, and non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation is given. Particularly severe patients may be treated with other treatments such as ECMO. So as the disease progresses to different stages, there are appropriate treatments, and most patients are able to recover with treatment. Source: Dr. Yurai
