Orthodontic treatment procedures

Initial consultation: Both parents and patient are required to be present. Initially, the child is examined to see if he/she needs orthodontic treatment and to point out any problems. If the child needs and wants to be treated, further examinations will be done: taking models of the upper and lower jaws, taking X-rays or CBCT, taking photographs, blood tests, etc. First follow-up visit: Both parents and patient should be present to discuss the problems and treatment options in detail. Include: whether orthodontic treatment is possible; whether teeth need to be extracted and which teeth to be extracted; what materials to be used; efficacy, course of treatment and cost, etc.       What is the cost? Second visit: tooth separation (children who need to be extracted will be extracted and recovered for a period of time before the tooth separation). Third visit: placement of aligners. Subsequent visits will be every 4-6 weeks.
