Type III prostatitis is a subtype of prostatitis that refers to chronic nonbacterial prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome.
Prostatitis is often clinically categorized into four types, of which type III prostatitis is one of the more common and refers to chronic non-bacterial prostatitis, also known as chronic pelvic pain syndrome.
This type of prostatitis usually do not have a typical pathogen infection, to long-term, repeated pelvic region pain as the main symptom, pain location wide, the location is not clear, can be swelling and hidden pain; in addition, there can be frequent urination, urinary urgency, urinary pain, waiting for urine and other varying degrees of urinary abnormalities symptoms and sexual dysfunction.
For this kind of patients mainly take medication under the guidance of doctors, such as oral α-blocker, tamsulosin hydrochloride in order to improve the symptoms of obstructive urination.
