Treatment cases of severely collapsed nose

  Severe collapsed nose and midface depression, also known as Binder’s syndrome, is a clinical syndrome in which dysplasia of the bony structures of the midface predominates.  The main clinical features are: 1) midface depression, 2) nasal hypoplasia, severe saddle nose, 3) maxillary hypoplasia, 4) anterior nasal ridge recession, 5) occlusal misalignment, and 6) nasal column shortening.  The clinical features are midface depression and severe saddle nose.  Treatment with autologous rib cartilage and bone filling is more effective.
