Dry eye is due to abnormal kinetics and abnormal tear quality, causing a decrease in the stability of the patient’s tear film. At present, there is no specific drug for the treatment of dry eye, commonly used sodium vitrate eye drops, cyclosporine eye drops and so on.
1. Sodium vitrate eye drops: Sodium vitrate eye drops is a kind of artificial tears eye drops, which can relieve patients’ eye discomfort symptoms. After use, some patients may have eyelid itching, eye irritation and other adverse reactions, contraindications to the use of the drug is not yet clear.
2. Cyclosporine eye drops: Cyclosporine eye drops are commonly used immunomodulators, which can inhibit the inflammation of the ocular surface in patients with dry eye, and relieve eye discomfort. People who are allergic to this drug are prohibited from using it. After use, some patients may have adverse reactions such as burning sensation in the eyes, conjunctival congestion, itchy eyes.
