The clinical management of patients with diabetes combined with high uric acid includes 3 parts, as follows: 1. Diet control, avoid alcohol, including liquor, beer, wine, and less meat, eggs and shellfish, and drink more water, 2L per day, to increase uric acid excretion and reduce the formation of uric acid crystals. 2. If the uric acid is still higher than 480 μmol/L after dietary control, oral uric acid-lowering medication can be used. 3. For obese diabetic patients, diet should be actively controlled, while increasing exercise and reducing weight can help control uric acid, so that comprehensive treatment can be provided to better control uric acid and avoid gout.
