How often should SLE be reviewed?

Patients with stable stage of SLE can review the relevant indications around 3~6 months, while patients with active stage of SLE should be reviewed once every 1~4 weeks. SLE is a chronic connective tissue disease that can involve the skin and other multiple organs and systems, and common symptoms include fever, rash, joint swelling and pain, and fatigue, etc. Patients with active SLE may need to adjust the drug treatment plan and observe the effect of drug treatment according to the blood sedimentation, CRP and other relevant indications in a timely manner, and it is generally recommended to review the drug treatment effect once every 1~4 weeks. Patients with inactive and stable SLE have a relatively fixed treatment regimen and are generally reviewed once every 3-6 months. It is recommended that SLE patients go to the rheumatology and immunology departments of regular hospitals for detailed consultation and standardized treatment as prescribed by doctors.
