Stage III cervical adenocarcinoma means that the cervical adenocarcinoma lesion goes beyond the cervix and invades into the patient’s pelvic wall and/or invades into the lower third of the vagina, which may or may not be accompanied by pyelonephrosis or renal function impairment, but has not yet developed distant metastasis. Stage III cervical adenocarcinoma belongs to middle and late stage cervical cancer, and clinically, patients will have many symptoms such as vaginal bleeding, increased vaginal secretion, pain in lower abdominal and pelvic area, lower back, hematuria and so on. According to the treatment principle of cervical adenocarcinoma, stage III patients are usually given preoperative radiotherapy first, radical surgery together with regional lymph node dissection after tumor shrinkage, and continue to be given postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy as treatment strategy. Patients with stage III cervical adenocarcinoma have high recurrence and metastasis rate, so the clinical cure rate of patients is low, only about 30%. It is recommended that patients with cervical adenocarcinoma should go to regular hospitals in time, follow the diagnosis and treatment advice of specialists, and actively cooperate with the treatment, so as to control the extent of the tumor, improve the life treatment and prolong the survival time.
