Atrophic gastritis is an irreversible disease, there is no clear medication that can reverse it, and the main focus is to improve the symptoms and regular review. Atrophic gastritis refers to atrophy of gastric mucosa and glands, or with intestinal epithelial hyperplasia and/or atypical hyperplasia. 1. Improvement of symptoms: Selection of medication based on symptoms, which can be applied in combination or individually. Commonly used drugs include mucosal protective agents (such as magnesium aluminum carbonate, aluminum thioglycollate), gastrointestinal dynamics (such as mosapride, itopride), digestive aids (such as compound digestive enzymes, mitochondrial pancreatic enzyme tablets) and so on. 2. Regular review: Combine with medical history and gastroscopy to determine the review cycle, usually ranging from 1 to 2 years. For the prognosis of atrophic gastritis, it is recommended to consult a doctor to give guidance in the light of the patient’s condition.
