A 4D cardiac ultrasound with strong light spots is an ultrasound manifestation that suggests possible calcification, etc. and does not represent an abnormality in the heart.
When a woman has a 4D ultrasound in mid-pregnancy and finds a strong light spot in the heart, there are many reasons for this, such as calcification due to mineral deposition in the center of the papilla, early ischemic changes of the coronary artery vein-tip branching in the papillary muscle, and tendon cell hyperplasia, etc. All of these are generally physiological changes and may be absorbed naturally.
It is recommended to repeat the examination after 4 weeks. If the strong spots are still there or slowly increasing in size, along with other abnormalities in the ultrasound, it is recommended to do chromosomal testing, such as amniocentesis, to clearly diagnose the presence of congenital heart disease.
During pregnancy, you also need to ensure rest, maintain a calm mind, avoid contact with allergens or radioactive substances, get proper sun exposure, avoid gathering in crowded places, maintain indoor ventilation, strengthen nutrition, eat more high-protein, high-energy foods, avoid emotional excitement or strenuous exercise, control blood pressure, blood glucose and blood lipids, and undergo regular prenatal checkups.
