What are the effects of drinking orange peel water

Chenpi water has the effect of strengthening the spleen and drying dampness, but using Chenpi in water may not be able to completely precipitate the active ingredients of the drug, and only Chenpi is a drug, so the efficacy is limited.
Chenpi is the dried mature fruit rind of orange and its cultivated varieties in the family of Rutaceae. It is bitter, pungent and warm in nature. It belongs to lung and spleen meridian. It can regulate qi and strengthen the spleen, dry dampness and resolve phlegm (dispel dampness by drying dampness and dissolve phlegm). It is used for distention and fullness in the epigastrium (stomach and abdomen), poor appetite, vomiting and diarrhea, and cough with excessive phlegm.
Chenpi is pungent and warm, easily depleting qi and injuring yin, so it should be taken with caution in qi deficiency, dry cough with yin deficiency, vomiting of blood, and those with a red tongue and little fluid, and with solid internal heat.
It should be noted that the efficacy of the tea made of a single Chinese herb is limited, if discomfort occurs, it is recommended that the patient seek medical attention in a timely manner.
