What’s wrong with dry eyes?

Frequent dryness of the eyes may be caused by dry eye, exposure keratitis, and visual fatigue.
1. Dry eye syndrome: refers to any cause of abnormal tear quality, or abnormal dynamics caused by the tear film stability decline, can appear in the eyes often dry, foreign body sensation and other phenomena.
2. Exposure keratitis: cornea loses the protection of eyelids and is exposed to the air causing corneal dryness, epithelial detachment secondary to infection of keratitis, which may present with symptoms such as frequent dryness of the eyes and dryness of the conjunctival epithelium.
3. Visual fatigue: mainly caused by poor eye hygiene habits, such as frequent use of cell phones, computers, lying down to read books. As a result of long-term eye use, it can cause frequent dryness of the eyes, blurred vision and other symptoms, which may also be accompanied by pain.
Often dry eyes can also be seen in other causes, it is recommended that patients go to the hospital in a timely manner, follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, to avoid delaying the condition.
