Shaobastric Blood Stasis Relieving Tang is composed of fennel, Yuanhu, dry ginger, radix peony, lingzhi, angelica sinensis, and pu huang, which can be used for the symptoms of cold coagulation and blood stasis in the lesser abdomen. Shaohui Tang (少腹逐瘀汤) is a formula composed of fennel, Chinese wild ginger, dried ginger, red peony, spirit fat, Angelica sinensis, Pu Huang (蒲黄), myrrh, Rhizoma Ligusticum Chuanxiong (川芎), and Guan Gui (官桂), which is used for treating cold agglutination of the abdomen with hematochezia (stasis of blood). Clinical symptoms may include blood stasis in the abdomen, pain or pain without accumulation of lumps, or pain without accumulation of lumps, or menstruation three to five times in a month, continuous, black or purple in color, or abdominal distension, lumbar soreness during menstruation, or metrorrhagia (excessive menstruation or dribbling) with abdominal pain, or blood stasis, or abdominal distension, or stasis of blood, preventing fertilization, with dark tongue and white moss, and sunken and stringy and astringent pulse.
