What’s wrong with asymmetrical thigh lines in babies

The asymmetry of the baby’s thigh lines may be a problem of local soft tissue development or a bone problem.

1. Local soft tissue development problems: mainly due to obesity and other problems, the child generally does not have lower limb activity disorders and other problems, and bilateral lower limbs are equal length. It will not affect the growth and development of the child, so there is no need to deal with it.

2. Bone problems: especially the hip joint. The possibility of congenital hip dysplasia cannot be ruled out, which should be clarified by ultrasound or X-ray examination in the hospital. Hip dysplasia can be corrected by brace or surgical treatment under the guidance of the doctor, otherwise it will affect the child’s normal walking in the future.

The asymmetry of the thigh lines does not necessarily mean that there is a problem, it is recommended to take the child to the pediatrician in the hospital in time to check it out. Those with problems should be treated under the guidance of a doctor.
