How to clean a stone puncture wound

The process of cleaning a stone puncture wound includes cleansing, disinfection, deciding whether to perform debridement surgery depending on the condition of the wound, as well as preventing tetanus and other infections and other treatments.
1. Cleansing: first wash the wound with 3% hydrogen peroxide and saline, try to remove the surface contaminants and stones, soil and other foreign objects.

3. Depending on the condition of the injury, decide whether to perform debridement surgery: such as removing the skin at the edge of the wound 1~2mm, if there is a skin contusion, you should remove the inactivated skin, remove the foreign objects in the wound, close the wound after completely stopping bleeding, cover it with sterile gauze and bandage it. The wound should be covered with sterile gauze and bandaged. Afterward, it needs to be changed regularly and the stitches should be removed.
4. Prevention of infection: after the injury, you need to inject tetanus antitoxin to prevent tetanus, take amoxicillin, cefaclor and other antibiotics to prevent and control infection.
