IVF Hysteroscopy Procedure

IVF is usually preceded by a hysteroscopy, a process that is timed to take place between 3-7 days after the end of menstruation and requires a leukorrhea test to see if there is any acute inflammation of the reproductive tract. The patient first empties the bladder and assumes the truncal position on the examination bed, then the vulva is disinfected, a vaginal speculum is placed to expose the cervix, which is again disinfected, and then the cervix is dilated with a No. 7 cervical dilator. If there is difficulty in dilation, some drugs can be used in conjunction with anesthesia drugs. Put in the connected hysteroscopic probe, the probe is put into the uterine cavity, watch the morphological changes in the uterine cavity on the screen, you can see the thickness of the endometrium, and whether there are uterine polyps, abnormal redundancies in the uterine cavity, or whether there are abnormal bleeding spots, as well as endometrial hyperplasia.
