The main ingredients of Amoxicillin Clavulanate Potassium Tablets are Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid, of which Amoxicillin is a more commonly used penicillin antibacterial drug, which can kill bacteria by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. Clavulanic acid, on the other hand, can inhibit the beta-lactamase enzyme produced by bacteria and assist amoxicillin in killing bacteria. This medication is commonly used to treat a variety of infections caused by various sensitive bacteria, such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, acute bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, cystitis, and urethritis. It is not recommended to take oral contraceptive pills while taking this medication, this medication can reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptive pills. It can be taken on an empty stomach or after a meal, or with food such as milk. A penicillin skin test must be performed before taking this product.
