What’s wrong with your ears?

Cloudy ears refer to ear blockage, which may be caused by cerumen embolism, secretory otitis media, chronic diffuse otitis externa, and sudden deafness.
1. Cerumen impaction: Too much cerumen accumulates in the external ear canal and blocks the ear canal, resulting in blocked ears and tinnitus.
2. Secretory otitis media: abnormal function of the eustachian tube, local infection or allergic reaction leads to negative pressure in the middle ear, with symptoms such as occlusion, stuffiness, tinnitus, earache and hearing loss.
3. Chronic diffuse otitis externa: thickening of the skin of the external auditory canal, cracking, desquamation and accumulation of secretions, which may cause ear blockage, tinnitus, hearing loss and other symptoms.
4. Sudden deafness: Sudden sensorineural deafness of unknown cause, there will be ear blockage, tinnitus and hearing loss.
There may be other reasons for ear blockage, it is recommended to consult a doctor for a clear diagnosis and targeted treatment.
