What tests can be done for suspected migraine

1.Electroencephalography: Patients with migraine can have mild abnormal EEG, and the abnormal rate of EEG in pediatric migraine is higher. 2.Transcranial Doppler examination: The main changes of cerebral hemogram in patients during the attack period are asymmetry of wave amplitude on both sides, accelerated blood flow velocity of vasospasm, or slowed blood flow velocity of vasodilatation. 3.Carotid artery and vertebral artery color ultrasound can be seen as intima-media grossness, or plaque, etc. 4, cranial CT or magnetic resonance imaging examination without abnormalities, the purpose of the examination is to exclude intracranial organic lesions. 5.Cerebral angiography: in principle, patients with migraine do not need cerebral angiography, and it is only used when severe headache attacks and intracranial aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation are highly suspected.
