The difference between liver pain and stomach pain

The differences between liver pain and stomach pain are as follows: First, the location and nature of pain are different: liver pain is located in the right upper abdomen and is generally based on tolerable stuffiness and pain, but patients with liver cancer may sometimes have severe pain. Stomach pain is mostly located in the upper middle abdomen or left upper abdomen, mostly distending, stabbing or spasmodic pain, often accompanied by acid reflux, heartburn, belching, indigestion and other symptoms, mostly related to food intake. Second, the underlying diseases are different: liver pain is common in chronic hepatitis, fatty liver and liver cancer, while stomach pain is mostly seen in acute and chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, gastric cancer, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and diverticulitis of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum and many other causes. Third, the treatment is different: liver pain is mainly given to liver protection treatment, if it is caused by liver cancer, painkillers can be given, and stomach pain is mainly given to protect the gastric mucosa, inhibit gastric acid secretion and other drugs to carry out comprehensive treatment.
