What does it mean to be a carrier of HPV?

HPV carriers are people who have papillomavirus infection in their bodies, but it doesn’t lead to the onset of disease in women. 80% of women will have HPV infection in their lifetime, and they may not feel uncomfortable after the infection, which can be eliminated on their own by adjusting their lifestyle, exercising properly and strengthening their immunity. Only in a small number of cases, there may be vulvar warts or cervical HPV infections, which need to be treated with antiviral drugs and, if necessary, surgery to remove the lesions. Persistent HPV infection of the cervix can lead to cervical cancer after many years.
