Should teens wear contact lenses?

Contact lenses, or corneal contact lenses as they are medically known, are named because they are worn inside the eyelid and are not seen directly like a frame lens. The main purpose of contact lenses for adults is for convenience. Adolescents, on the other hand, do not wear the same contact lenses as adults because they are growing and developing, and eye diseases such as myopia are getting worse. Ophthalmologists recommend that teenagers wear contact lenses that are mainly rigid, such as keratoplasty lenses, which are made of a more breathable material than soft lenses and have the effect of controlling the development of myopia. Of course, there are potential risks such as infection, but as long as the lenses are scientifically fitted and properly cared for, they can be quite safe. So you can’t talk about contact lenses and change color, not accepting them and missing the opportunity to control and correct myopia.
