Care of pancreatic resection

Pancreatic surgery is a large surgical procedure, so postoperative care is more important. Postoperative pancreatic care mainly includes the following aspects: 1. Monitor patients’ vital signs after surgery, fix patients’ gastric tube, abdominal drainage tube and nutrition tube properly, record the flow of gastric tube, drainage tube and nutrition tube as well as the color and nature of drainage fluid; 2. Encourage patients to get out of bed early after surgery, which can effectively avoid the formation of deep vein thrombosis in lower limbs and effectively prevent pneumonia; 3. Observe whether the patient has abdominal pain, abdominal distension and fever, once the above symptoms appear, the patient should be alert to the occurrence of abdominal infection, and abdominal ultrasound or abdominal CT should be performed to further clarify the diagnosis; 4. After surgery, the patient’s diet should be decided according to the recovery of the gastrointestinal tract function, and generally transition from a liquid diet to a normal diet.
