How long can you live on dialysis twice a week?

The survival time of dialysis twice a week is related to the general condition of the patient. If the patient has renal insufficiency, but the urine volume is above 1000ml/24h, and there is no obvious heart failure, breathlessness, etc., 1-2 times a week is sufficient dialysis, and the survival time is between 10-20 years. If the patient has no urine and has obvious nocturnal shortness of breath, heart failure, inability to lie down, coughing pink foamy sputum, and obvious uncontrollable blood pressure, it belongs to inadequate dialysis, and the survival time is generally shorter, less than half a year, and longer than 3-4 years, so it is recommended that the patient has adequate hemodialysis. Adequate indications for dialysis are no increase in dry weight of 3kg between 2 dialysis sessions, blood pressure is not high or low, heart rate is not fast or slow, no generalized swelling, and cardiothoracic ratio is less than 50%.
