The fallopian tube is a very important reproductive organ for women and its smoothness is related to whether a woman can successfully get pregnant or not. There is no way to test whether the fallopian tubes are open or not, because they are located on both sides of the abdomen and are deeper than you can touch with your hands. The fallopian tubes are very slim, so there is no way to test them by yourself except going to the hospital. At this stage, the main way to detect whether the fallopian tubes are open or not is through tubal lavage or tubal angiography. If the fallopian tubes are open, the fluid will pass smoothly and the patient will not feel any pain during the whole process. However, if the fallopian tubes are not open, the fluid will not pass smoothly and the patient will feel more painful. The test is performed by taking a plain film of the abdomen with contrast, which shows the fallopian tubes more clearly and allows a clear diagnosis of which section of the tubes is blocked. If the fallopian tubes are blocked, the mature follicles cannot be discharged normally and thus cannot unite with the sperm to form a fertilized egg, which has a great impact on pregnancy.
