Tubal thickening is usually related to gynecological inflammation. Inflammation is often near the fallopian tubes, and the inflammatory reaction causes fluid or pus to collect in the tubal lumen, which is shown as tubal thickening during ultrasound examination, with the following common causes: 1. gynecological inflammation: for example, vaginal inflammation, cervical inflammation, pelvic inflammation, tubal inflammation, and adnexal inflammation. As gynecological inflammation is not treated in time, the condition is aggravated and prolonged inflammatory stimulation can cause tubal congestion and edema, thus thickening; 2. abortion: due to various reasons such as stimulation of abortion, improper operation or incomplete abortion, resulting in serious infection, germs can easily invade and spread from the uterus to the pelvis and fallopian tubes, which can cause tubal thickening and even blockage; 3. fluid and pus accumulation in the fallopian tubes If fluid or pus accumulates in the tubal lumen, ultrasonography will indicate thickening of the fallopian tubes, and the patient may also have abdominal pain; 4. If the disease continues to develop, ultrasound examination may reveal tubal masses and thickening.
