Enhanced MRI is a type of MRI that is generally categorized into two commonly used methods: scanning and enhanced. Enhanced MRI is a way of obtaining more image characteristics of lesions through intravenous injection of contrast agent on the basis of scanning MRI. It makes use of the difference in blood supply and source between lesions and normal tissues, and the difference in signal intensity after the uptake of the contrast agent, so as to determine the type and nature of lesions, and it is widely used in the identification of the nature of tumors. Generally speaking, after a scanning MRI or ultrasound or CT is performed and problems are found and the nature of the lesion needs to be further clarified, some doctors will ask the patient to undergo an enhanced MRI according to the patient’s condition.
