What kind of medication is used for osteomalacia

Commonly used drugs for osteophytes include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen and nutritive nerve drugs such as vitamin B1.
Osteomalacia is the formation of bony growths on the edges of normal bones, and the main causes of its development include overweight, heavy physical labor, and malnutrition. Most osteophytes do not cause obvious discomfort, but some patients with osteophytes may experience pain or even restricted movement due to the location and cause of the growth.
For patients with osteophytes that affect normal life, medications can be applied to relieve symptoms. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can be used for patients with pain, commonly used are ibuprofen, diclofenac sodium, and so on. For patients whose osteophytes compress the nerves causing numbness and activity limitation, nutritive nerve drugs can be applied, such as methylcobalamin, vitamin B1, vitamin B12 and so on.
For osteoarthritis caused by osteomalacia of the knee joint, hyaluronic acid intra-articular injection can be used to treat it.
When conservative treatment is ineffective for patients with osteophytes, they can be treated by surgical removal of the osteophytic part of the bone.
Osteomalacia medication needs to be under the guidance of a physician or pharmacist, do not blindly use medication.
