There are many Chinese patent medicines for treating white phlegm and sticky phlegm, such as Er Chen Pill and Jing Fang Pu Wei San, etc. It is recommended that patients follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the use of medication, as follows:
1. Er Chen Pills: mainly composed of Chen Pi, Pinellia, Ginger, Poria and other traditional Chinese medicines, not only can dry dampness and resolve phlegm (to dry dampness to dispel dampness and resolve phlegm), but also can regulate qi and stomach, suitable for phlegm-dampness and cough caused by white phlegm and sticky, the adverse effects are not yet clear, to avoid spicy, greasy food during the period of consumption.
2. Jing, Fang and Toxin Dispersant: mainly composed of Jing, Duhu, Fangfeng, Qianhu and other traditional Chinese medicines, it has the effect of relieving the surface and dispersing the cold (removing cold from the surface of the muscle), and it is suitable for the cold caused by the cold, fever, white sticky sputum, and so on, the adverse effects are not yet clear, but pay attention to the wind-heat cold and should not be taken.
