Wrist pain is not necessarily a sign of early cancer. Wrist pain is mostly caused by fracture, dislocation, osteoarthritis, tendonitis, tenosynovitis or even gout, rheumatic/rheumatoid arthritis, hand tumor, septic infection or tuberculosis in the wrist. However, chest and neck tumors, if they grow with time, may cause wrist pain due to enlarged lymph nodes compressing nerves.
