Low lymphocytes and neutrophils may be associated with hypersplenism, aplastic anemia, and chronic exposure to radiation or chemical toxins.
Low lymphocytes and neutrophils may be related to the following factors:
1. Hypersplenism: blood cells may be reduced in one or more blood cell lineages in the blood routine, but the morphology of the cells is normal. Leukopenia or (and) thrombocytopenia predominates in the early stages, and total blood cell reduction often occurs in the late stages. Neutrophils and lymphocytes may also be low because of the high number of blood cells destroyed.
2. Aplastic anemia: it may cause a decrease in the production of neutrophils and lymphocytes, or a decrease in the differentiation ability, and the total number of white blood cells may be reduced.
3. Prolonged exposure to radiation or chemical poisons: can also lead to a significant decrease in lymphocytes and neutrophils.
Low lymphocytes and neutrophils may also be related to other diseases, it is recommended to go to the regular hospital as soon as possible to improve the relevant examinations, after a clear diagnosis to give standardized treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
